Updated: Nov 30, 2022

Cooking time 8-10 Minutes Fan assisted 170 degrees

Gas mark 4 Makes 18 cookies

If giving as a gift then source some nice jars (or use a large coffee size jar). Layer the ingredients starting with the flour so it looks pretty. Package up your gift as ecologically as possible. Print a label with instructions.

65g sugar 75g packed brown sugar 95g self-raising flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 80g porridge oats 120g cranberries 100g white chocolate chips 115g butter 1 large egg 5ml vanilla extract

Provide butter, egg and vanilla extract separately.

Pour ingredients into a large mixing bowl, stir to combine Beat in softened butter, egg and vanilla extract. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes Drop a tablespoon of mixture 2” apart on a sheet of greaseproof paper (I make a ball of mixture). Chill in the fridge for 2 hours. Bake at 170 degrees in a fan assisted oven for 8-10 minutes (watch closely) or gas mark 5 Reshape cookies if necessary whilst cooling. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy hot or cold.
