How it works!

The Big Swap Guidelines

  • Select items from your wardrobe you no longer want, make sure they are in excellent, clean condition with no damage or stains.

  • Place larger items on hangers

  • Accessories can include scarves, hats or jewelry

  • No shoes unless brand new.

  • Bring your items to your chosen event:- St Michael's Parish Rooms (April) or Woodlands Village Hall (September) between 10am and 11.45 am. Your donation will be sorted and points allocated to you.

  • Your items will be checked and labelled

  • You will be given a receipt showing the total points for your old wardrobe

1 point = children's wear, t-shirts, shoes, accessories

2 points = shirt/blouse, shorts, jumper

3 points = jackets, trousers/skirts

4 points = coats, suits

Items may be declined if they are not in excellent condition

  • Return from 1pm to ‘spend’ your points on other items.

  • Unless indicated your unswapped items will be donated to charity. If you wish to collect any unclaimed items, please return at 2.30 pm. All items to be collected will be labelled accordingly on donation.

  • Don’t have enough points? See Coordinator Lucy on the day as we hold a 'bank' of points from clothes donated but not wanting to be swapped.

  • Please spread the word to friends and family

  • Enjoy your new wardrobe! Let us know what you think.
