Eco Christmas Tree Festival

Our first Eco Christmas Tree Festival, November 2025, was very well received but this huge event is likely to run bi-annually in future.

However we are looking into a different theme with St Michael's Church, which could be just as spectacular, if there is sufficient interest.

VoW Pop Up Surgery

A volunteer attends the Heritage Centre the first Saturday of each month to hold a pop up recycling surgery. The list of what we collect is here.

VoW are grateful to Woodlands Village Hall for supporting our epic clothes swap.

All points from both Woodlands and Verwood events are fully transferable.

How it works!

Select items from your wardrobe you no longer want, make sure they are in excellent, clean condition with no damage or stains.
Place larger items on hangers
Accessories can include scarves, hats or jewelry
No shoes unless in really good condition
Bring your items to Memorial Hall, Ringwood Road, Verwood BH31 7AA between 10am and 1145am
Your items will be checked and labelled
You will be given a receipt showing the total points for your old wardrobe

1 point = childrenswear, t-shirts, shoes, accessories

2 points = shirt/blouse, shorts,

3 points = jackets, trousers/skirts,

4 points = coats, suits

Items may be declined if they are not in excellent condition

Return from 1pm to ‘spend’ your points on other items.
Unless indicated your unswapped items will be donated to charity. If you wish to collect any unclaimed items, please return at 2pm. All items to be collected will be labelled accordingly on donation.
