We are a group of local people who are are concerned about the global problem of plastic use and the effects on our health, planet and the future of our children. Our aim is to inspire and facilitate others to reduce their plastic use and waste. We aim to share tips and information which will help us all reduce our global footprint and take the confusion out of recycling through raising public awareness.

WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR

  • Created an eco and sustainable gift catalogue

  • Created & manage TerraCycle recycling points in Verwood

  • Created a successful Freecycle annual event

  • Provided recycling facilities at The Rustic Fayre

  • Compiled a recycling directory for Verwood

  • Provide a pop up recycling surgery for hard to recycle items 

  • Produce and supply soy wax wraps & produce bags

  • Support & coordinate local litter picks

  • Loan of items such as a sewing machine to repair clothing

  • Obtained grant funding from Verwood Solar Farm and DPD Eco fund

  • Promoting national incentives; Plastic Free July​, GB Spring Clean, Second Hand September, Plastic Free Christmas
